Teri James Photography | About

Hello!  I'm glad you're visiting my website and hope you enjoy my photography.  I'm a wife, mother and "Grand-T" to three beautiful grand babies.  As you can probably tell by my portfolio photos, my grand babies are a favorite subject, but I'd love to photograph your family as well.  I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, but having recently retired from my full-time job, I'm looking forward to expanding my photography in the coming months and years.

I hope you'll contact me when you need family photos...babies, maternity, events, weddings...let me put together a permanent record of your special event, whatever it is!  Once those moments are gone, you can't get them back, but you CAN keep it forever in a photograph.

What equipment do I use?  I've made a significant investment in my cameras and gear.  My main camera is a Canon 5D Mark IV, with a 5D Mark III as a backup.  All of my lenses are Canon L's (luxury).  My most used lenses are my 24-70 f2.8L, 50 f1.2L, and 70-200 f2.8L.  When the natural light isn't available, I have a couple of Canon 600EX-RT Speedlites and their associated umbrellas, lightstands, etc.  I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for editing, and galleries are posted to my Shootproof site.

It's a LOT of stuff to keep track of, but I love every piece of my equipment and take the best care of it that I possibly can, so that I can use it to take the best photos that I possibly can.
